By Air: Located around 155 Km from Yelagiri, the nearest airport is Bangalore airport. In addition, air travellers can also fly till Chennai airport, which is another nearby airport. From airport, one can hire a cab or get into a bus that to reach Yelagiri.
By Train: The nearest railhead is Jolarpettai Railway Station, which is located nearly 21Kms from Yelagiri. From railway station one can hire a cab or a taxi that will take half an hour time to reach the destination. From Bangalore, the travel time by train till Jolarpettai Railway Station is nearly 3 hours. Some of the major trains on this route are Seshadri Expres, Tirupati Passr, Chennai Express and Kaveri Express.
