But, it is believed that it was built by a King Called Agrasen at the time of Mahabharata epic.

The well is now completely dry, but local people living nearby Agrasen ki Baoli says that, once the Baoli is filled with black water, it called out the people mysteriously, hypnotized them and ask them to sacrifice their lives and drove them to well.

Tunnel No. 33 a place where a famous ghost of British Railway Engineer named “Colonel Barog” exits. But it is believed that it’s a friendly ghost.

Tunnel no 33 Shimla haunted story which one of the most haunted stories in Shimla says that, Colonel Barog and his workers were making a tunnel no. 33. Due to less knowledge, the tunnel constructions were wrongly built. Alignments of the tunnels were not exactly made, and both the ends of the tunnel could not meet. Due to frustration and humiliation, Colonel Barog during a walk along with his pet dog shot himself. The dog was terrified and fled to the village, near the present Barog railway station. People realize that something has went wrong, they rushed to the spot and found that Barog was dead. He was buried in front of the tunnel (near the Kalka – Shimla national highway, about 1 km from Barog). It is now believed that spirit of the Colonel Barog still exits there.
