Every year a huge numbers of footfalls are witnessed at this mega event. However, unlike its all previous editions, IITF 2017 is going to accommodate less space for organising variety of events on account of some ongoing construction works at the event premises. Despite of this pitfall, both Delhiites and the organiser are quite expectant for an electrifying ambience during the event days. Keeping in mind the convenience and safety aspects of visitors and exhibitors, ITPO is planning to curb down the availability of entry passes and tickets this year. Besides, the plan is also there to bring into practice the concept of Business Hours instead of Business Days wherein; the first four days will be for business visitors in place of five days like previous editions of IITF. This initiative will help in limiting the volume of footfalls on non-business days due to the space issue.
IITF theme is something that portrays the entire objective of the event. Every year a new theme is selected for this mega event. In 2017, the IITF theme is “Start up India: Stand up India”, which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015.
