Nicco Park

Nicco park is one of the most famous amusement parks in the city of Calcutta. Spread over 40 acres, it has many fun rides like River Cave Ride and Scaree.

This huge family park has large number of rides including an international standard indoor sports complex with bowling, pool and air hockey and an upmarket restaurant-cum-bar. The multi-cuisine food court in the park houses some of the best restaurants of Calcutta.

Nicco Park opened on October 13, 1991 and is also known as the Disneyland of West Bengal.

Nicco park was also the first park in the world to be certified with SA 8000 (Social Accountability) certification, the first in Asia to be certified with ISO14001 (Environment Management System), and the first amusement park in India to be certified with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.


It has over 35 different attractions and is popularly visited with over 24 million customers every year. Popular attractions are the park’s cable cars, and Eiffel Tower which provides panoramic view of the park from above. Natural attractions include a Rose Garden and a forty feet high waterfall.

This wonderful amusement has received many awards in the last 20 years. Its The Giant Cyclone had been awarded the ‘Best Indigenously Manufactured Ride’ of 2006-07 by the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries, and its famous and scary Nicco Park’s River Cave ride was adjudged the Most Innovative and Popular Ride’ of 2009-10.

Park is open on all days of the week from 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
