Getting there


Dooars is an amazing holiday destination that can easily be visited from various neighbouring locations like Kolkata, Siliguri, Darjeeling and Assam. For railway commuter, the nearest railhead to Dooars is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), which is the doorway to Bhutan, Nepal and North East India. In addition, Malbazar is one more important railway station to reach Dooars. However, the railway frequency is comparatively not regular here as NJP.

For road connectivity, various cabs and state transports are available from Siliguri and Darjeeling.

If you want to reach Dooasr by air, the nearest airport is Bagdogra airport (83Kms), which is well-connected to places like Kolkata and Guwahati. Within 12Kms reach from the main town of Bagdogra, one can get taxies and buses to reach Dooars quite conveniently.
