While a business-chic hotel may not necessarily suit the Andamans, this place is pretty plush with sleek, sparkling, modern rooms. It also has a nautical-themed bar upstairs.

The mid-range Driftwood makes a fine choice with sunny, decent-sized rooms. The pricier ones have a lovely view of the lush green jungle. With a decent staff, the place has a good restaurant with an attached outdoor bar (with karaoke nights on Saturdays), and wi-fi access in the lobby.
3. Aashiaanaa Rest Home
Port Blair’s most comfortable budget choice hotel has homely rooms decked out in marine, and a convenient location uphill from Phoenix Bay jetty. Most rooms have cable TV and running hot water supply. The pricier rooms get you a balcony and air-conditioning. The hotel staff can help out with booking ferry tickets and takeaway food delivery.
4. Azad Lodge
An old budget favourite that’s popular for its simple and clean rooms; though single rooms without bathroom are like prison cells.
5. Sinclairs Bayview
Located on the road to Corbyn’s Cove, 2 km outside of town, Sinclairs big and comfortable rooms have the best view in town, opening right out to the beach. It has a nice seaside garden with hammocks to lounge in, and several Japanese WWII bunkers on-site. Airport transfer is free of cost
6. Fortune Resort Bay Island
Overlooking the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal, Fortune Resort Bay Island offers modern rooms with a balcony and free wired internet. The resort features an outdoor swimming pool and open deck restaurant with sea view.
Veer Savarkar airport is approximately 5 km from Port Blair where Fortune Resort Bay Island is located.
7. Barefoot at Havelock
Havelock’s most luxurious resort, boasts of beautifully designed timber and bamboo-thatched cottages, located near the famed Radhanagar beach. Its romantic restaurant is a good place to splurge. Barefoot also has attractive beachside duplexes at its dive resort on Beach 3.
