Flanking to the beautiful hill town of Fagu, Banthia Devta Temple is a religious place for the local inhabitants. The temple was built in the reverence of the local God. In addition, the brilliant wooden carving with a blend of small pillars and thatched roof are the key attractions of this temple. The structural design of this holy shrine beautifully portrays the art and culture of the town. Everyday plenty of local worshipers visit here to pay their sacred reverence to the God. Once you access the temple, you get to notice the wooden idols of Lorda Vishnu’s ten personifications and ten heads of Ravana. By Air: For air travellers, the nearest airport is Jubbar-Hatti Airport (Shimla), which is located nearly 35Kms from Fagu. Jubbar-Hatti Airport is in convenient touch with the cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Bangalore and Mumbai. From airport, one can easily hire a taxi to travel further or get into a bus that runs under the Himachal Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (HPSRTC).  Additionally, travellers can take a flight till Chandigarh Airport and then travel further by road to reach the destination.

By Train: Located nearly 20Kms from Fagu, the nearest railhead is Shimla. From Shimla Railway Station, it takes approximately 25-30 minutes to reach Fagu by road. However, the best and most convenient option to reach there is via Kalka, which further connects Shimla to its neighbouring destinations. From Kalka, Shimla is nearly 6 Hours away. Some of the major trains on this route include Shivalik Express, Himalayan Queen, Shivalik Deluxe Express etc. If you are travelling from Delhi, Kalka is an overnight travel.

By Road: If you reside in a place like Delhi and want to visit Fagu by road, there are several regular state transports and private vehicles that will take you to Shimla via NH 1. From Shimla, you can cover the distance till Fagu by car/taxi in less than an hour time.
